PRIVATE 4×4 SAFARIS

Your own Land Cruiser. Your own guide. Your pace.

A private safari means the vehicle and driver-guide are yours alone. Leave at dawn, stay with a leopard for an hour, or take a long lunch: the day runs on your schedule.

Why go private

  • Flexibility: start early, stay late, change plans on the day.
  • Photography: everyone gets a window and room on the pop-up roof, and you choose when to move on.
  • Families: go at children’s pace, with breaks whenever you need them.
  • Privacy: perfect for honeymoons and special trips.

Private safaris work with any accommodation level, from budget camps to luxury lodges.

Frequently asked questions

How much more does a private safari cost?

It depends on how many people share the vehicle. For 4 to 6 travellers a private safari can cost about the same as a group safari per person.

Can we combine private and group days?

Yes. Some travellers join a group to the Masai Mara and then continue privately.
