Day by day
Day 1: Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, arriving for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Masai Mara
A full day of game drives across the reserve, with a picnic lunch out in the bush.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Morning game drive, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon drive looking for white and black rhinos and the lake’s birdlife.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
A long travel day south to Amboseli, arriving in time to settle in at your lodge.
Day 5: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drives among Amboseli’s big elephant herds, with Mount Kilimanjaro behind them on clear days.
Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi
A final early game drive, then return to Nairobi in the afternoon.
